It's time for a palate cleanser. And here's a great video from John Mellencamp. Although I hate his politics, I do enjoy his music. And Mellencamp has done some good things for the American Farmer. Pay special attention to John's drummer Kenny Aronoff. He is, IMHO, one of the great drummers in music today. He can Rock, go Country, Jazz it up, and just plain kick ass. Along with the late great Keith Moon, Kenny is my favorite drummer. Enjoy the video and try and forget the trash that currently plagues America right now. At least for about four and one-half minutes.

How Much More Do They Expect Us To Take

I guess they didn't have the balls to try and claim "Executive Privilege" one more time so they're pulling this. Once again the shit-stains in the Omama regime and its IRS butt-licks have insulted the intelligence of the American people with their bullshit and lies. This time it's about Lois Lerner (again) and her IRS emails to the White House and other government agencies that were PROMISED to be revealed. From the Daily Caller comes this little tidbit of news. Of course the first thing that came to mind was the eighteen-minute gap in the Nixon Tapes during the Watergate hearings. Nixon would be proud of her lying ass.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the government, and especially the IRS rely on redundant systems and backups when it comes to records. I seriously doubt there's only one computer in the IRS and it just happened to be the one with Lerner's email records on its hard drive. And yet this is what these fucking liars would have us believe. Incredible! Just try and tell the IRS you lost your W-2 form or interest income statements at tax time and see what happens. Just try it!

First this lying hag Lerner planted a question in her own press conference to out the story about the IRS and its selective prosecution and harassment of conservative PAC groups. Then she claimed her Fifth Amendment privileges when being questioned by the House on IRS corruption, all the while spilling her guts to the DOJ on the very same subject. I guess she doesn't fear Eric Holder's people (for some odd reason) and yet has nothing to say to our elected representatives in the House. Then she's allowed to "retire" with all benefits and slink off into the sunset with no repercussions and/or accountability, unless you count a House contempt citation which is toothless when one considers it would be Eric Holder's DOJ who would investigate her. The entire scenario is a rigged fucking game.

What really pisses me off about this is this - nothing will happen. Based on past illegalities the people involved here will escape without any accountability. Congress will pitch a bitch, threaten those in charge with some type of sanctions and/or hearings (again) and maybe, just maybe, issue another worthless contempt citation. But no one will go to jail, lose their job or pay any price at all. Just a guess based on past actions. Any bets? I'm giving odds.

Cosmos My Ass!

I've been watching the 2014 series Cosmos since it began several weeks ago. Although the original hype about this new version was about it being a re-boot of Carl Sagan's original Cosmos from 1980, tonight it lost me as a loyal viewer...for good! Actually this may have been the last of this year's episodes. Who gives a shit? I'm done after tonight.

And what happened tonight? Neil deGrasse Tyson went off on a "global warming" and AGW agenda-driven tangent complete with decades old images and videos (the seventies?) of oil-soaked birds and filthy landscapes. And in the process they lost what credibility the show had remaining. I was promised science and I got an op/ed. Wrong.. Wrong... Wrong!

Actually, the episodes have been more of a series of history lessons with a bit of Philosophy and progressive group-think tossed in for seasoning. It has had very little to do with the Cosmos as the original Sagan version did. Not that is a bad thing, but I was led to believe this would be about Black Holes, Gamma-Ray bursts, interstellar travel, etc... What I got tonight was a scolding and warning about the destructive nature of humankind. So where's the beef hard science?

Tonight's episode was a progressive's wet dream - a bait-and-switch about the evils of human beings. I'll stick to Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, and Jana Levin. We've been mislead on this show. Although I believe in climate change I still see no hard evidence or a "consensus" as Tyson claimed tonight on whether it's caused by human or natural effects. And at a cost of trillions dollars and thousands of jobs they better come up with some REAL proof. Not the shit Al Gore and progressive America is trying to shove down our throats.

Tyson and Ann Druyan (the show's producer) pulled a fast one tonight and as scientists they should be ashamed. Especially Ann Druyan, when you consider she was married to Carl Sagan.

Well I decided to have some fun with the casting and insert my own actors in place of the originals. So in honor of lame sequels here's my concept for the remake. See if you recognize the two assholes I cast in the roles of Harry and Lloyd. Oh, I also decided to re-title the remake Dumb & Dumbass. I guess the real question is; which one is Dumb and which one is Dumbass? You decide.

And being an official card carrying liar of the democrapic party he suffers from memory lapses at the most convenient times. Less than two years later and this loser can't remember who changed a phrase in the Benghazi talking points.

I think most informed folks will remember the auto workers who voted and rejected to allow the UAW to represent them at the Chattanooga Volkswagen plant a couple of months back. Well guess what? It appears there may be a do-over thanks to the Fascist assholes running the UAW and of all people, the suits at Volkswagen. And if I'm not mistaken the people at American Thinker predicted this might just happen right after the election results were tallied.

The destructive pigs (I.E. Detroit) of the UAW may just get the legitimate election results overturned because of comments made by Senator Bob Corker (R) of Tennessee. I guess Corker doesn't have the same First Amendment rights that other Americans (supposedly) have and wasn't supposed to opine on the upcoming vote. 

It's astonishing that the election could even possibly be considered to be invalid and have to be held again. But then again these are progressives and this is the same Omama regime who have packed the NLRB (illegally) to make this all possible. We are witnesses to the quiet but surely certain end of our Representative Republic if this is allowed to happen. One quote below from a San Francisco (surprise) State professor illustrates the thinking process that infects our Universities and confirms their twisted thought processes.

"The Volkswagen election showed the extraordinary lengths to which Republican lawmakers and anti-union organizations are prepared to go in order to subvert workers’ right to choose a union," writes John W. Logan, a professor and director of labor and employment studies at San Francisco State University. "Whatever the eventual outcome at Chattanooga, they must never get away with this election chicanery again."
