Are You Surprised?

From the Chicago Tribune: HOUSTON - A defendant in the racially-charged Jena 6 case in Louisiana has been arrested for assault after an altercation at the suburban Dallas high school he is now attending, potentially complicating his legal defense in Jena and dispiriting some of his supporters.

That didn't take too long. Come to think of it, I'm surprised it took as long as it did. One of the shit-stains from the Jena Six, Bryant Purvis, is in trouble again. Actually, more than one of these "victims" have re-offended since the original incident. Mychal Bell is back in jail too. These young thugs are reminiscent of the scumbags Damian Football Williams, Antoine Miller, Henry Keith Watson and Anthony Brown who nearly stomped to death trucker Reginald Denny at the start of the L.A. riots. Damian Williams is now serving a life sentence for murder and Antoine Miller died in 2004 after being shot in a night club.

Why isn't the fat pimp from NYC, Al Sharpton, weighing in on the situation now? Could it be he can't get any mileage out of the case since this time it involves an unambiguous black on white attack? Maybe Sharpton is working on a new drug deal with the Feds. Either way, if Fat Al really gave a shit about race relations in the U.S. he'd be down there with his entourage trying to make things right, not expoiting it for his own personal gain. This thug-in-training Purvis has a great future to look forward to. Among his options are prison, drug problems, violence issues, etc... He's creating his own personal stereotype. No one had to do it for him.
